Culture: The Ultimate Interior
When we think of the stereotypical agency environment, images of Ping-Pong tables, lava lamps and overstuffed fluorescent chairs come to mind. Sure, outside agencies may have more freedom when it comes to furniture choices and paint colors, but that shouldn’t condemn in-house interiors to be lacking. While architectural attributes can distinguish a workplace, there is something more important that defines it. That something is culture.
The ultimate agency environment is one that cultivates a healthy culture, which is why we chose “culture” as the theme for the 2014 In-House Agency of the Year Award. This annual competition honors internal agencies and creative organizations for outstanding performance in areas such as business impact, creative excellence, client partnership, and more.
Each year, IHAF announces a new theme along with related criteria for entry. This year, we are recognizing the in-house agency that has distinguished itself above all others when it comes toCultivating Culture—specifically what they have done to foster talent, creativity and collaboration.
Talent. How effective is your in-house agency at attracting, developing and retaining top talent? What causes people to feel recognized and valued? What enables your team to thrive?
Creativity. What makes your workplace creative? Specifically, what makes your environment one that stimulates creative thinking and problem solving regardless of in-house agency function?
Collaboration. Is your team collaborative? We’re looking for examples of collaboration across in-house agency functions as well as between your in-house team and its clients and/or external agencies.
IHAF’s In-House Agency of the Year Award is the only distinction of its kind, recognizing the pinnacle of performance by an in-house team. Any corporate advertising agency and/or internal creative services organization is eligible to participate, per the entry criteria.
If your in-house agency's culture is one of its greatest assets, we want to hear from you. The call for nominations is open now through August 31, 2014. Let us know how your team is Cultivating Culture, and you could be named the 2014 In-House Agency of the Year. Enter today!
