State Farm Earns Best of Show!
With over 750 submissions across 32 categories, it wasn’t easy deciding who’d take Gold, Silver and Honorable Mention at last week’s IHAF Awards. The work was exceptional, with in-house agencies rivaling any top shop out there when it comes to creativity. Of course, there can only be one Best of Show at such an event—and this year that honor went to State Farm Insurance for their In the Moment: Hot Car social media video.
Led by Mark Gibson, the 150-person Creative Services team at State Farm serves as the in-house creative and production agency for the nation’s largest insurer of cars and homes. Their winning entry in the Digital Marketing, Social Media category shines a light on the heat-related danger of leaving children in cars.
Against a backdrop of applause, the State Farm contingent beamed as Mark Gibson stepped forward to accept the Best of Show trophy at the IHAF Awards Show. “It’s very humbling to be among this group,” said Gibson, “and to receive this kind of recognition.”
We’d like to thank all of our entrants, with Gold, Silver and Honorable Mention videos featuring the full assortment of award winners on our website. We’d also like to extend special thanks to Express KCS for their generous sponsorship of this year’s IHAF Award Show.
We look forward to seeing you (and your fabulous work) at next year’s event and to celebrating the explosion of creativity in-house teams of all varieties are producing every day. Join us!

October 16, 2023
I’m going to be honest with you, which I always am but this time it’s scary honesty. There are a lot of in-house agency research reports out there. And not all of them contain data that are close to the integrity of the studies IHAF publishes—the next of which drops at the IHAF conference on …
